Exceptional App Studios ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Weight Mate mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

1.4 Subscription Information

Payments are handled by Apple or Google. We do not store card details. We receive only subscription status, transaction IDs, and entitlement data via RevenueCat.

Local Device: Cached data for offline access

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

4.1 With Your Friends

Friends can view your display name, profile photo, current weight, and progress. You can remove friends anytime.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You can update your profile, goals, and notifications in the app.

5.2 Delete Your Data

Delete your account via Settings → Delete Account. Data is permanently removed within 30 days.

5.4 Offline Mode

You can use the app without signing in. Data remains only on your device and won’t sync.

6. Data Retention

Active accounts: Data retained
Deleted accounts: Removed within 30 days

7. Children’s Privacy

Weight Mate is not intended for children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA).

8. International Data Transfers

Data may be processed in the United States and other countries. EEA transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or consent.

9. Third-Party Links

We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.

10. Changes to This Policy

Updates will be posted in the app and reflected by the “Last Updated” date.
